Sadie (Tokarz) Jagoda, 89, of Cedar Street, Rockfall, wife of the late Frank A. Jagoda, died Friday, April 10, 2009, at Wadsworth Health Care Center.

Ralph Olsen McLean, 81, beloved husband of 47 years to Sunrae Agostini McLean, of Durham, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the CT Hospice surrounded by family.

Arthur Smith Bielefield, 79, Durham (formerly of Middletown) died on Tuesday, March 31, at home after a long illness. He was the son of the late Frances (Smith) Bielefield and Herman E. Bielefield and was the grandson of the late former mayor and postmaster of Middletown, Frederick J. Bielefield.

The Reverend Lester G. Morris, retired priest of the Diocese of Norwich, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, in Middletown. He was 79. Father Morris had been a hospital chaplain, parochial victor of several parishes in the diocese, and was pastor of St. Colman Church in Middlefield when he retired in 2004.

Ada (Bull) Brazee, 102, of Way Rd., Middlefield, wife of the late Henry Brazee, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at Wadsworth Glen in Middletown.

Robert (Bob) V. Poole, of Middlefield, died Wednesday morning, March 18, of heart failure. He was a tall and quiet, unpretentious man with a subtle sense of humor and an abiding presence, who loved hiking, canoeing, camping and being among the trees. An avid reader of classics and nautical adventures, he enjoyed working with wood and hand tools.

John W. Cichon, 91, of Durham, husband of 51 years to the late Priscilla (Grenman) Cichon, died Monday, March 16, 2009, at Middlesex Hospital. He was born in Rockfall, the son of the late Paul P. and Anna (Ptak) Cichon.

Anthony "Tony" Cannata, 77, of Middlefield, husband of the late Emily "Jane" (DeForest) Cannata, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, in the Hospice Unit at Middlesex Hospital.
