Does anyone else think the speed trap on Pent Road was a little harsh this morning (3/12/09)? Police must have pulled over half the cars traveling. They said there were a lot of complaints about excessive speed by residents. EXCEPT, they were NOT issuing citations for speeding next to the residential portion of the road, they lasered the vehicles coming down a steep hill next to two giant open fields, about 1000 feet away. Why not record the speeds adjacent to the ACTUAL homes? I guarantee most of those cars cited would have slowed down by the time the got to the homes.

Why couldn't they put out a SMART Machine first???
