Anna (Gerent) Pysar, 91, of Massassoit Rd., Middlefield, wife of the late Joseph Pysar, died Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Alex and Anna (Rudy) Gerent. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Lyman Gunsight.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Cathrine Pysar of Durham; two grandchildren, Richard Pysar of Durham, and Christine Grenier and her husband Jeff of Durham; and two great grandchildren, Melissa and Alexandia. She was predeceased by her son, Edward Pysar; three brothers, Edward, Alex and William Gerent; and three sisters, Mary Blinn, Helen Blinn, and Elaine Dinda.

Funeral services and burial are private. Biega Funeral Home has care of the arrangements.
