Middlesex County Community Foundation (MCCF) is pleased to welcome renowned animal trainer and behavioral specialist William Berloni on Thursday, Aug. 26, at the Centerbrook Meeting House. To celebrate the legendary “Dog Days of Summer,” Middlesex County Community Foundation (MCCF) is hosting a Party with a Purpose from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26, at the Centerbrook Meeting House (in the Centerbrook section of Essex).

Many of your favorite animals on stage, television and screen – such as Sandy, Bruiser, and the animals on Sesame Street – are lovingly trained by Middlesex County’s own William Berloni (William Berloni’s Theatrical Animals), a widely recognized expert in animal behavior, dedicated advocate of rescue work, and well-known animal trainer for stage and screen.

Berloni will speak about animal welfare and companionship and also announce the winner of the 2010 ARF! Animals: Respect and Friendship Fund mascot contest. He will sign copies of his most recent book, Broadway Tails, which will be on sale at the event.

Tickets are $5 with a small donation of cat food, dog food or cat litter. Everyone is welcome, though we do ask that you not bring your animal companions as we cannot accommodate them in this venue.

Tickets are available at the Community Foundation; e-mail requests to Info@MiddlesexCountyCF.org, subject: “ARF! Party,” and include a name and phone number to confirm reservation information or call 860-347-0025 for tickets or information.
