Middlefield Volunteer Fire Department to hold touch-a-truck

The year 2009 is a banner year for the Middlefield Volunteer Fire Department who will be marking their 75th anniversary. One of the many events planned is a touch a truck fund raiser to be held on Saturday, May 9, with a rain date of Sunday, May 10. Trucks of all shapes and sizes are being lined up.

The fire department would like to extend the invitation to other non-profit organizations in town the opportunity to join in by giving you a chance to host your own booth. It is hoped that a number of different children's booths can be organized as well as a few other types of food items. If you think you would like to have a booth please contact Mike at (203) 537-1928 and leave a message. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible with information. If you would be willing to bring a vehicle to put on display we would like to hear from you too. Please note all items for sale must be approved first. It is our hope to have a wide variety of items and games to help make this day a great success.
